On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador, I’m pleased to invite you to our 3rd Only a Boat Fundraising Dinner and Auction scheduled for February 28, 2015 at the Holiday Inn, St. Johns.

The evening will consist of a three course dinner, live and silent auction and raffles. Here are the details:

Individual tickets are $120 (with a $60 tax receipt) Corporate tables are also available for $960.00 (Table of 8), and $1,200 (table of 10)

Our aim is to preserve the wooden boats and boatbuilding skills of our past and find a place for these traditions in today’s world. Through the work of our staff, volunteers, and enthusiastic members we are celebrating and preserving our wooden boat history, and sharing the knowledge and skills learned by our forbears.

Our Museum Friends show their support in many ways and with inevitable cutbacks in government funding sources we have to identify a greater portion of our funding from our own efforts and those of our supporters.

With the purchase of a corporate table, your company will be acknowledged on our website, at the event and in our newsletter.

If attending the event is not possible, there are other ways to show your support – monetary donations to help with the cost of hosting the event, items for our live and silent auctions or raffle prizes.
