“Only-a-Boat” Dinner & Auction

Support a Tradition Centuries in the Making

Once every two years, we gather to celebrate the legacy of our wooden boat heritage at “Only a Boat” Fundraising Dinner and Auction. The event is fondly named after a poem written by the late Fred Green, a key visionary behind the Wooden Boat Museum, after he and his father built a rodney with a three-piece mould that had been in the family for generations.

As a not-for-profit organization, the Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador is grateful for our generous supporters who make it possible to deliver programs and initiatives dedicated to preserving the rich legacy of our wooden boats.

Our 6th Biennial “Only a Boat” Fundraising Dinner and Auction will take place in 2024.
